Coltsfoot Leaf

Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) gets its name from the shape of its leaves, which are said to resemble a colt's foot. Used in traditional Austrian medicine, coltsfoot can be taken as tea or syrup to help with respiratory issues, skin conditions, colds, flu, and fever. It can also be applied directly to the skin. An extract of the fresh leaves is commonly used in cough drops and hard candy.
