My Health Journey
My journey to natural health began many years ago when I decided to take control of my health and bring down my blood sugar. Through healthier food, exercise, and lifestyle changes, I became healthier than I had ever been—and stayed that way for years.
Then, one spring, everything changed. I was bitten by a tick and developed Lyme disease. It was devastating and incredibly frustrating to feel that, despite living a healthy lifestyle, my health could suddenly take such a turn. After struggling to find answers through conventional medicine, a natural practitioner helped me discover that Lyme disease was the cause and introduced me to natural approaches that helped me recover.
But my journey taught me something even more important: true wellness isn't just about what you eat or how much you exercise—it's also about what you surround your body with every day. I could not afford to have my immune system busy fighting unnecessary toxins.
I began eliminating unnecessary toxins from my home and lifestyle, one change at a time—switching to organic and non-toxic soaps and detergents, natural fabrics, clean personal care products, toothpaste, deodorant, makeup, shampoo, and feminine products.
That experience inspired Organic Oasis – Holistic Pantry. I created this store to share the natural, thoughtful products I discovered along my own journey and to make it easier for others to choose a cleaner, more natural way of living.
